The news many people have been anticipated for has come upon us. Karo “The Heat” Parisyan (19-7) is fully returning to the cage on September 14, 2011. “The Heat” will be face to face with Jordan Smith (15-2-1) at the very first event of newly christened promotion, Amazon Forest Combat, in Brazil.

Parisyan’s previous appearance in the ring was highlighted at May’s MMA Live 1 card alongside Canadian fighter Ryan Ford, where he lost via TKO after a wayside knee caught him flush and opened a profound cut that forced the doctor to stop the match immediately. Parisyan was on top of the fight and dominating it to a top level. The loss was shocking and heartbreaking for him and his fans as the fight had arrived to a heated expecting moment.
